Neue Digitale Razorfish
Founded as a creative “new media” agency, Neue Digitale works at the limits of what is technically feasible right from the start. The initially small team is way ahead of its time, with its aim of making companies and products a brand-compatible experience on the Internet.
Customers such as adidas, Nintendo and Audi quickly become aware of the young agency. A great team and a unique culture leads to hundreds of awards.
Neue Digitale becomes the most creative new media agency in Germany.
But the work of the Frankfurt-based agency does not go unnoticed internationally either. All major agency networks put out feelers, and in 2007, 10 years after its inception, they decide to join Razorfish (today Publicis Sapient), taking the agency to the next level.

Andreas Gahlert leaves the agency in 2012 to gain new experience as an investor, consultant and advisor. In tune with the “Never Stop“ spirit of Neue Digitale, he founds the startup COBI.bike in 2014 with former ND colleagues, who share a passion for cycling and digital innovations.
In 2017, the smart biking startup and the entire team are taken over by market leader Bosch eBike Systems. Andreas Gahlert, as Chief Digital Officer, gains valuable experience as a manager in a group with many stakeholders.
During this time, other partners set up their own agencies, work as independent consultants or participate in the establishment of start-ups or the transformation of medium-sized companies. What they all have in common is the enthusiasm for digital, mutual respect and the spirit of Neue Digitale, the “Never Stop”.

As Razorfish, the creative new media agency becomes an internationally networked digital agency.
What remains is the curiosity, the enthusiasm and the joy of working with the latest technologies. In addition, there is a deeper understanding of data, methodology, business intelligence, data and user experience design. Neue Digitale becomes a strategic partner for customers for their digital transformation.
By 2013, the 100-strong team in Frankfurt and the newly founded Berlin location have grown to a total of 250 employees. The working methods at that time would perhaps be called “New Work” today.
Many of the team cross paths again, in new and varied professional roles, carrying increasing responsibility. They take on management positions in large agencies and innovative companies, develop standards for digital work as experts, and maintain a close-knit network to this day. Even years after the name "Neue Digitale" has disappeared from the market, they look back on their time at "ND" with pride and also a little nostalgia.
